Today we’re starting off our week by celebrating EMS week. The theme for 2020 is “Ready Today. Preparing for Tomorrow.” This will last from May 17th-May 23rd. This brings the community and their local EMS together. Different communities do different things. EMS week also helps to educate others and help celebrate with games and cookouts sometimes. Each day of the week gives us something to learn about:
Each of these days represent safety, and something to bring the community and health care workers together. During this pandemic, please be mindful of social distancing and large gatherings. We can still observe our EMS through this event. Thank you for all your support, strength and help during this pandemic. You can also share and find more information if you use #NationalEMSWeek.
